So they were very honest about it, and they saved me about 800 or 900 dollars!That gives you even more faith on the job that they did." Since the job was performed, his home is much more comfortable and his energy bills are lower, As an added bonus, his wife, who used to suffer from asthma and indoor allergies, has experienced a noticeable improvement in her condition, thanks to the energy efficient dehumidifier installed in the basement, which rids the air of moisture, mold spores, dust mite pellets and other allergens.

  The crawl space in William and Norma M.'s Milford, DE home had all the typical problems you can find in a dirt, vented and uninsulated crawl space. There was mold, musty odors and a lot of discomfort during the winter time, all because of that crawl space. Cathie & I are very satisfied by the work Dr. Energy Saver did in our home. The initial audit was very thorough and the rep pointed out a lot of areas that we could improve on our home to save heat. Due to our tight budget at the time, we could only afford 2 of the 8 recommendations; installing a return vent in a room with only an intake vent, and sealing up our entire attic area of any leaks. Their crew came in and spent most of the day doing both. The two guys were very professional, friendly, and knew their stuff. The next day, my wife and I noticed a significant difference in the temperature in our home. Our living room area used to always be 80-90 degrees in the summer, unless we cranked the air conditioning thermostat below 71, which led to big bills. After they did their work, our living room is now a comfortable 73-79 degrees in the summer without having the thermostat below 73 [degrees]. So, I am quite pleased, and when I have the finances, I plan to have 2-3 more projects done by them.

We had been talking about needing to upgrade our insulation, and immediately we noticed less draft and the heat pump working less. The Dr. Energy Saver staff and crew were very courteous and helpful. They also arrived on time and cleaned up. Between Kevin's presentation and the ad in the local paper, we had to choose Dr. Energy Saver. The staff was so respectful of our home, and comfortable to have around.

IN SHORT: Bedroom 60' away from furnace. Was cold and drafty in winter since moved there in 2009. Slept with two blankets, 1 an electric blanket. When temperatures outside reached 40 degrees, turned the electric blanket on to go to sleep & during the night. January 7, 2014, temperature outside was 13 degrees & wind blowing. Must admit, SURPRISE SURPRISE. Only one blanket, NO electric blanket. When temperature around 50 degrees later in the week, some nights just a sheet would do. Delaware Co-op advises to check the ducts for leaks & if approved tape to seal. Best leave it to The Pros. I left it to Joe & Carlos of Dr. Energy Saver, The Pro's, & they brought reduction in air leaks(loss of heat) down by 96%! Reduction of supply ducts down to 1 square inch & return ducts down to 3 square inches; from the size of a 36"x8' door.
